Pay Grade:  Paraprofessional Level 3

 

Primary Purpose:

 

Perform routine office and clerical duties as assigned by the diagnostician/speech pathologist/LSSP.

 

Qualifications:

 

Education/Certification:

High School Diploma or equivalent

 

Special Knowledge/Skills:

Maintain accurate records

Communicate in a professional manner

Ability to meet guidelines

Computer knowledge and knowledge of computer programs

Type 40 wpm accurately and operate general office machines

 

Major Responsibilities and Duties:

  1. Maintain all correspondence for the diagnosticians/speech pathologists/LSSPs.
  2. Run monthly reevaluation reports and ensure all evaluations and reevaluations folders are setup.
  3. Answer calls, maintain and relay accurate
  4. File admission, review, dismissal (ARD) forms, psychoeducational evaluations, speech therapy evaluations and miscellaneous items in the student eligibility folders at the central office and on campus.
  5. Ensure all processed Admission, Review, Dismissal (ARD) documents, IEP, and evaluation documents are achieved within Estar/Esped.
  6. Run monthly Cognos and Esped student lists to verify PEIMS data including “active” “withdrawn
  7. Schedule ARD meetings, Amendment ARD meetings, REED meetings, Service Plan
  8. Maintain up to date lists/reports of students receiving
  9. Order and maintain adequate office supplies.
  10. Type letters, memos, reports, etc.
  11. Duplicate materials needed by case manager.
  12. Perform related duties as assigned.
