Salary: $7.25
Primary Purpose:
Assist with daily office operations. Answer phones, file papers, guide and assist visitors, direct phone calls to the appropriate personnel on campus.
Education/Certification:
Student must be at least 16 years old
Have transportation to report to work

Major Expectations, Responsibilities and Duties:
- Greet visitors and assist with requests.
- Answer and respond to incoming calls from the public and employees, take reliable messages and route to the appropriate staff.
- Receive, sort and distribute mail and other documents to department staff.
- Process requests for official district records, including maintaining log of records requests, retrieving documents, copying, and mailing records.
- Follow district safety protocols and emergency procedures.
- Monitor access to records and ensure proper security and confidentiality.
- Maintain confidentiality of information.
- Complete any other duties as assigned.

Tools/Equipment Used: Standard office equipment including personal computer and peripherals; imaging equipment
Posture: Frequent walking, standing, bending/stooping, and reaching. Occasional pushing/pulling and twisting
Motion: Repetitive hand motions including frequent keyboarding and use of mouse; occasional reaching.
Lifting: Occasional light-lifting and carrying (less than 25 pounds)
Environment: May work prolonged or irregular hours
Mental Demands: Work with frequent interruptions; maintain emotional control under stress.
